A Year In Washington DC

Political Advertising is an interesting beast, “How to sell image, while being modest and honest, while aggressively attacking the opponent, who may be a fellow party member or the enemy from the other side?”  My years in brand advertising actually gave me all the answers, keep it simple, keep it clear and focus on the USP.  Unlike brand ads,  political ads have a much shorter life, “…about 3 seconds before it ends in the trash”, so it is important to make the 3 seconds count with compelling visuals and strong text. As a result, break through work was created which generated much PR for the candidates and the MSHC agency.

Hackman

When a political candidate turns out to be the a “questionable character”, one who costs the tax payer hundreds of thousands of dollars to cover his butt and legal fees, he earns the title of being a “Hackman”, and what better way tell his story to the American people than through a video game.
